Adopting a Pet from the Animal Rescue League

As one of the largest animal care shelters in the tri-state region, we take great pride in finding good homes for our stray and abandoned companion pet friends. Please take the time to review this page. The information contained within will help you make the right selection - after all, a pet can be your companion for up to 20 years.

ADOPTIONS DEPARTMENT HOURS

Sunday from 11am -5pm
Monday from Noon -5pm
Tuesday from Noon-7:30pm
Wednesday from Noon-7:30pm
Thursday from Noon-7:30pm
Friday from Noon-7:30pm
Saturday from 11am -5pm

You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet.  When coming to adopt an animal please be sure to give you and your family enough time to get to know the pet you are interested in adopting. Also bring identification and a lease stating you can have a pet if you rent your home.
