Kitty has the dubious distinction of being the saddest, most depressed kitty in our shelter right now. He's been with us for a month now, and he just hides in his cubby all the time, miserable and scared. When volunteers take him out, he relaxes a bit, and really enjoys being petted. He'll even purr sometimes, when he's feeling really comfortable! But most of the time, Kitty is terrified, depressed, and barely eating. Our hearts are breaking for him. Can't you please come and give him a home? And a proper name?

Kitty was much happier before he came to us. His owner said he was friendly and affectionate, and even had a playful side! He likes cats and kids, and loved to play with his owner's Great Dane! I'm sure he'll be the same once he's out of a cage and has a home again.
