ARL Paws Over Pittsburgh
Encouragement, Motivation, and Rewards are what you will receive by joining the Animal Rescue League’s marathon team, Paws Over Pittsburgh. As a Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon award-winning partner charity, Paws Over Pittsburgh consistently attracts the most runners of any organization in the charity program. That’s not a coincidence. Our new and repeat runners realize that we’ve got their backs! We help with training and fundraising and we’re always open to new ideas. It’s why Paws Over Pittsburgh won Outstanding Performance of Race Participants and Outstanding Fundraising Performance Organization awards in the 2014 Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon.
By running for their rescue, you’ll be helping the only local shelter that takes in and cares for both wild and domestic animals! In return, you’ll get free registration, training opportunities, and encouragement along the way. We’ll also help to ensure you reach your fundraising minimums through innovative and fun events, as well as other opportunities. Funds raised make a direct difference by helping to provide shelter, medical care, and love for thousands of animal in need!
(Registration opens on Monday, August 17th)
