Sometimes the stress of the shelter proves too much for one of our cats and they find refuge in a foster home. Maybe the cat has a special need that can only be met in a foster home setting. The shelter animals are quite lucky to have caring, compassionate individuals open their homes on a temporary basis. However foster homes are not permanent and our foster cats are still in need of their forever homes.
Many of these cats exhibit poor behavior in a cage and do not show well at the shelter. Yet we know they make wonderful house pets as evidenced by the joy they bring their foster parents.
Since the foster cat is living in a home environment, our foster parent will readily know the answers to many of your questions such as: Does the foster cat like cats/dogs? Does the foster cat like children? What does the foster cat eat? Does the foster cat use the litter box?
Your new best friend is waiting for you.
