Success Stories

We adopted "Batley" which we renamed "Badely" after fostering him for a short time.  All of the staff were so knowledgeable and helped us through the entire process.  He is the sweetest dog we could ask for and will definitely be coming back to get him a friend after a little while.  Badely's faveriote things are his bones, squeaky toys, and everyone's lap.  He loves to snuggle and also loves getting an ice cube to play with while we are cooking dinner!

Thank you all so much for your help :)

The Saraceno Family

Hello,
I just wanted to send you an update. A very happy match has been made.

Scarlett is the most amazing cat ever.  Of course my opinion is totally biased, but I do love her. She is the only cat I have ever lived with that is truly a sweetheart. She never uses her paws or her mouth to communicate with you. She loves to play stalk and chase the bunny but but always stops about a foot away, almost as to say OK it's your turn, and waits for the bunny to make the slightest move and then she runs away. LOL it is quite amazing to watch. She is not a lap cat, but enjoys a lot of love and petting, just as much as she does playing with toys or cat and mouse, with both her human and bunny friends.

Penny, a one year old black pittie mix, was adopted on February 3rd. She was surrendered by someone who had found her as a stray in late October. Many people were curious to see her because of her small size and her sweet disposition in the kennel. However, when they met her, they became overwhelmed by her energy and her playful nature. So, she stayed here with us for over 3 months until she f...ound the right people for her. On Friday, an older couple came in and asked to see Penny. They had had a lot of experience with dogs, especially pit bulls, and were interested in adding a new member to their family. When she came into the room, she was so calm and sweet with them, almost a completely different dog. They took her for a walk and fell in love with her. The decision was made and they adopted her with our Pets for the Elderly special adoption rate, which is $50 off the adoption. Here she is pictured with her new family. Congratulations to Penny and her excited owners!

I was just wanting to write to say thank you!!!  I adopted my baby Spike, your dog id# A13652103, on September 14th and this match couldn't have been better.  He is the best lil dog I could ever have asked for.  He adapted well to my home and my life, and has made many friends along the way.  It's been 4 months but feels like I've had him for years.  I wanted to drop a line to you as I read your website weekly and wanted to share our success story.  After reading his bio back in September and then meeting him, I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to part with sweet little dog.  He's doing very well, in great health, and is spoiled rotten.  Santa Paws was very good to him and he's living the life.  I have attached some photos for your office, and again, Thank you!

Sincerely

Robert Brown

Hi Sue!

Thanks for getting in touch. He is absolutely perfect... I have no idea how noone adopted him in all that time. I feel very lucky for being able to have adopted him. So far he is taking very well to my place and behaves almost flawlessly. We have started working on his walking manners but aside from that he really is perfect! Attached is a picture I took with my phone yesterday while we were playing. He's already incredibly spoiled with toys all over the house! I'll keep you updated in the coming weeks on his progress.

Thanks,
Jeff
